Status?

I noticed that there was a status line under my name and membership level. It said "David, July, 2017" I changed it to "Goldsmith" just to get rid of it. What is this "status" line and who is David?

Additionally, I had a request for how a member can check when his membership will expire and needs renewal. I couldn't find that info in my account info.

So it looks like you updated your status accidentally when responding to David Hoback's messages to you through your profile messaging, as shown here:



Because you just posted 'David,' it displays the date as well as the message so that's what you were seeing under your name when looking at your profile. To change your status you just go to your personal details and there will be a status message you can leave as many times as you want, kind of like Facebook.



As for the membership details and renewal time, you want to hover your mouse over the 'paid subscriptions' option on the top menu (or tap it on mobile) and click on the 'purchase details' option.



Then you will see all your current and prior memberships, when they were purchased, and when they expire.

Thanks, I see what happened now ... don't know how it happened, though.

Pertinux - Yes, Ilmarinen is a nickname that a fellow put on me because I seem to be able to make almost anything. It is the hero or a Nordic saga. He was a smith who forged the heavens, and then made a machine that would make anything you wanted.
