BTOJ came today and dropped off a little package for me. Will post pics in an hour or so.

I have to admit, Jerry just keeps amazing me with these things.;):D

You know, the dogs started barking a while ago and I thought I heard a scream from your direction. Must have bribed the wrong driver... I'll be right over to help.

Mark;)

Finally got the Pics taken. :)

Here it is, my new toy. Straight from Bladeart, thanks Larry, the Flying Tiger.

First impression is WOW, great knife, lighter than anticipated. It is quite a bit lighter than the MOJO. Of course, the serrations are awesome. For me the serrations make this a great looking knife. ;):D

And another one with Mr. MOJO.

Mark,
You have to see this thing. Or maybe not, you might be too tempted to take it with you ;):D

Very Nice Eric.

Can you subjectivly describe the handle feel with the MOJ as a comparision? I knida want to go for the FT, but I'd like to handle one frist. Big step up from the MOJ.

-Seth

SWEET
as Cocoa on a wintry night!!! {That's my new phrase of the evening: i've used it twice now.}
(We really NEED another icon for this forum: a DROOL icon! After all, we have a vomit icon... egads!)

Very nice Eric! What's the blade length on that beauty? What type of sheath came with the knife? Great catch. :)

Seth,
Give me a couple of days with it and I'll be more subjective.;) Just a little emotional since it just came. ;):D
I'll try to post a detailed review once I've handled it a little more. I do prefer the handle of the FT over the MOJO, can't explain why right now, its just a feeling. ;)

Ed,
The Blade length is running right at 7" give or take depending on whose measuring it. It came with a Kydex sheath, but I think I might need to upgrade to leather;) This knife just says leather to me. Problem is I don't want to send it anywhere to be "fitted" Personally I think I may have a BM sheath, I'm going to follow up with the shop about this ;):D

This is one of the FT's from the NY show and from what I hear this was the first one Jerry made. Jerry if your reading this thread, is this correct? I like knowing a little history of the knife.;):D

Do you think you could send the FT to my house so that I could get a better look at it, Please?

I'll send it right back;)

Cool knife, and I LOVE the new e-handles:D

Chuck,
To save you any trouble of waiting by the mailbox, I will just take some better pictures. There.... are you happy now? ;):D

Eric, that is one awesome knife. I guess I will now need to save even more money for my addiction, thanks Eric;) :p

Eric,

That is numero uno. . . That is the one that I posted the pics of. . . . and it is the one with which I created the design in front of a grinder. . not on paper. . . .Actually, all I did was hold on to the INFI bar stock infront of a grinder and that thing clawed its way out screaming "FREEDOM!!!!"

Congrats on your purchase. Here's a little more history on that particular blade. I instructed Marc NOT to sell it at the New York Show so that I might have a pattern to work with. However, getting Marc NOT to sell something is like getting a Pit Bull to sit quietly in front of a plate full of raw meat. . . . It just idn't gonna happen (yes, I meant "idn't". . . it's Ohioese for "ain't")

Larry (from Blade Art) saw it at the New York Show and said "That is going home with me today!" and Marc fought his request and resisted as best he could by countering with, "Thanks Larry" . . . ;)

Be careful! The Flying Tiger has some definite issues. It's a full season of Jerry Springer with canvas Micarta handles attached to it!
The Flying Tiger and its twisted sister the Flying Mo' need to be locked up and quarantined somewhere. . . Now!

Congrats,

Jerry

Jerry,
Thanks very much for the info. It is exactly what I wanted to hear;):D

It's great knowing that I have the first one. :D

BTW, Marc thanks for not listening to Jerry ;):D

Ok, so that one is the first one. What I want to know is, how many of these Flying Tigers have been made, and if they are still available?

Danbo,
I'm not sure how many have been made, but I know of one other similar to this one(Firehorse's). There is also one without teeth, I forget who has it(sorry :()

They can be ordered through the custom shop, contact Marc at marc@bussecombat.com

I love mine ;):D

That is one sweet blade Eric, congrats ya lucky bastid! One of those would look really cool with the satin finished flying badger I have on deck. Must resist. Must resist.:D
