steak knife for the camper

so i made this knife for the camper "request from wife" she gave me a jap knife and said make me one like this and this is what i came up with . It has a 6 1/2 blade 1 1/4 wide and the overall knife is 11 1/2" long ,made from 1095 and 15n20 about 250 layers the handle is bocote with 1/4" SS pins

That's a serious steak knife, looks like a small bush machete.
Beautiful Bocote wood, thanks for the pics.
 
What a GREAT knife! Looks like it is very functional and comfortable. Simple beauty.
I imagine it would make a very nice skinner, too.
