I might get my mom a set of 4 steak knives for Christmas...it has to be cheap ($30-40 for set) BUT it has to be of good/decent quality.
These any good?

I am aware that J.A. Henckels is a good brand for kitchen knives...yet these bottom of the barrel (of their line) "Gourmet" and "International" steak knives are made Spain and Thailand, respectively. Should I trust either one?
Suggestions for other steak knife sets are welcome.
My complete specifications:
- $30-40 price range or so
- above wal-mart steak knife quality
- wooden handles
- a design with the rivets showing on the handles

*edit
I would have a higher budget but I am also want to get her a multipurpose knife, kind of like this:

I know Al Mar makes excellent folders...how about the above knife?
All her current knives are misc., so I am adding some flavor to it.
