Steak Knives IN Steaks

Trimming..

If you gradually cut in an arc that swings away from you, instead of straight cuts while making your steaks, you won't end up with that wedge.

Think of the bottom being more narrow than the top. if you hold your elbow locked to your side, and sweep your knife or hand out in front of your body you will see the arc that you will be cutting along (albeit a smaller, more gradual arc).

After a few tries, you will be able to read how you are lining up your cuts once you hit the halfway mark. A few more after that and it will be muscle memory.

That being said, nice shells. Though they would benefit from more marbling from grain fed over grass fed.

Love this- Taking "foodies" to an epic level LOLO!!! ~ And you had to know Rob would go nuclear right out of the gate hehe  That MOAB is so versatile, I still get a grin out of how well it slices tomatoes ;)
I have to say, I'm digging the SH ;)

That wedge was just the first slice to square it up for the rest of the cuts... ;) Pups love it when that happens... :D. I tend to prefer grass fed beef, there is much more of it out here than the US I suspect. Those whole bit were actually from Costco here !! I didn't hold out much hope for them but I have to say they were not to bad for day to day eating steaks... :) :)

This was a recent meal when I was left without adult supervision at home for a few days...
