Here are a couple of steak knives which will go out as Christmas gifts to family.

Top ones are stabilized redwood burl with 416SS corby rivets and 416SS bolsters.

The bottom ones are black paper micarta with 416SS corby rivets and 416SS bolsters.

Steel is 3/32" 440C. Blade length is 4.75", OAL is 9.25".

Thanks for looking. As always questions &/or comments are welcome.

I have to say that I don't usually get enthusiastic about kitchen cutlery or eating utensils, but I really like these ones. Normally, I would prefer the wood handles, but for some reason I like the Micarta better in this instance.

I will have to remember you when people ask for recommendations for steak knives. Please email me your contact info so that I can add it to my address book for future reference. Do you also make kitchen knives?

Thanks very much for the comments guys, they are appreciated.

Keith I will send you my info tonight. Thanks for making the offer to keep me in mind, that is very generous of you.

At present I don't make any other kitchen/cutlery knife. I very much want to start making some, I've just been too busy to start designing any as yet. My plan is to get a couple of kitchen knives designed and made some time next year (a chef's knife and maybe a paring type knife).

At present I am working on filling orders, getting some new designs out, and making my first folding knives (have two designs on the bench). Oh and I have a day job and a family. Yep it's been a busy year! A good busy though.

Thanks again,
Sean
