Very cool Bro I love it. If you need some live Grateful Dead or Jerry stuff I've got most of the all the music/show that are out there

I thought you may like this one Chuck. Started off with just the text and just added the rest as time permitted. I'll hit you up and we can talk shows. Interested to hear what you have.

Thanks. I doodle a lot at my desk. It started with the text and when that was done I thought maybe I'll do the outline of the skull.

Well, that was no good and at that point I had to ink in the whole thing because it was bothering me too much.

Uhh, I like it, but i think it really impinges on two trademarks... Maybe we could work something out for a small run of t-shirts.

Pretty sure doodles are free from copyright law :)

Gent, you are quite the artist. My drawings are much more worrisome.

Too cool!! I hope I don't have nightmares of a bunch of dead heads running around with knives.

LOL!

True story: While 100% sober I saw a guy wearing a Grateful Dead shirt (and nothing else) running down Haight St. in 91 or 92 with a machete in his hand. He was singing "We All Live In A Yellow Submarine." I am pretty sure that there were hallucinogens involved. It is an image that I cannot get out of my head, but wish I could.

I should never have read this thread all the way to the end.

I could not condone the making of t-shirts. I won't tread on the Grateful Dead's trademarks, and though I like the doodle, I can't have it out there on shirts. I think it would imply that I had something to do with it.

You know, I'm not sure if the Dead haven't released the Steal Your Face Skull for reproduction because it has to be the most reused logo of all time. I hear where you are coming from though my friend! This won't ever be on any T-shirts, stickers, patches, or other swag, but If anyone wants a tattoo I just may be willing to fund it...

You're probably right, but... I still have to behave properly regarding other companies logos.

A tattoo would be cool.
