Greetings all,

Well, I was surprised the usual Ratweiler fanatics didn't beat me to the punch on this one. There's just something about basic black.

In any event, I understand the fuss now. I think one of these in INFI with mag grips would be a grandslammer! From tip to grip, its just a solid overall design.

This one has enough pre-lovin' that I'll definitely be takin it afield and makin' it earn its keep.

Oooooh! Me like! Well done! :)

I need a Ratweiler to keep my Chopweiler company! That is an awesome blade you got yourself.

How about some more information on how you did it? Steps, products, etc. Thanks for sharing.

I used a chemical stripper and birchwood casey super blue on the blade after I convexed it by hand on grandads old stone and polished by hand on various grits of sandpaper. I rit died the handle. It was a labor of love. I will miss the ratweiler, it was a grail of mine but the handle hump and I just did not get along. I hope it gets a good work out like it needs.
