I am interested in learning to make simple custom knives using G-10 or carbon fiber. If anyone has any advice that they could share with me (What is the best material to use, What equipment I will need, Where to get the equipment needed, Where to learn how to make, etc...), please let me know. Thanks.

If you do, I would advise you not to sell them to anyone. Any questions of this type will probably get the same responses for some time. The only posts I've seen on the subject lately is of makers giving up making non-metalic blades.

I've made knives from G-10 in the past, but probably won't for a while. I did it using a hacksaw, belt grinder, files, and sandpaper. G-10 is very tough stuff and VERY bad for your lungs. If you decide to make one, use a good quality respirator!!:)

Tantung or Talonite. 2 non steels that take wicked edges :)
