I traded for a flat grind Sebenza and wanted to share some photo's. I thought I might make the photo's a little more interesting by adding some other knives.

The flat ground Seb is very much to my liking. I have a question though. Is it unusual for a NIB Sebenza to lock up near 80% of the way across the tang? My other two well used, large and small ones lock up around 50% across. It is very solid, but this gives me a little conscern over how it may break in over time. What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Jon

Two more. I wish I had a better camera.

Although the Sebenza is built to the highest standards of precision, each knife is individually fitted, so the point at which the lock engages will differ. Not a problem. And if it ever becomes a problem, a quick call to them will lead to a solution. :)

Flat ground. Nice. Congratulations on the acquisition! :D
