Steel Butt Cap?

I heard there was, at least for a while, a steel butt cap made for the CR knives by a third party. I would like one for my Project, are any of these still available?

Since these caps are genuine CR ones they will be made of aluminium not steel. I replaced the hex cap on my '87 MkIV with a round one and it looked much better.

I actually kind of like the hex caps, it's the whole "bolted together look."

But yeah, the caps on eBay I saw were all aluminum. Some years back I was going to have a steel cap made, but ran into a snag and didn't pursue it.
