steel combinations for Damascus

hi hope someone can help. I am attempting my first Damscus blade and was wondering if en42 and 15n20 would be a good combination
 
Moving to Shop Talk, where the knife makers hang out.
 
I’ve never heard of en42 but it looks like 1075.

Something like 1075 with 15n20 is fine to use.
