I am curious how sleipner steel compares to cru wear ?
I have one knife in cruwear and I am a fan.
Let's also pretend that heat treat and grind are not factors here.

Thank you

CPM-CruWear is more wear resistant for better slicing edge retention. I’m not sure where the toughness would up exactly but CPM-CruWear would be a bit better due to the powder metallurgy probably.

Thank you.
I would think z-wear will give about the same performance as CPM-cruwear correct ?
If I understand this correctly sleipner will perform close to CPM-cruwear.
Is there another competitor that has similar attributes with ease of sharpening mixed in ?

I'm lining up a close second assuming I will miss on the next sprint run.
Thank you Larrin, you are the one who has the best insight on this.

Z-Wear and CPM-CruWear are identical.

CPM-CruWear and Sleipner would both be pretty easy to sharpen. I would definitely prefer CPM-CruWear or Z-Wear to Sleipner but it would work of course.
