I had 5 samples tested at Peter's Heat Treating. Can't remember the price, but it wasn't bad.
What was interesting is the samples were titanium alloys, and the testing equipment didn't read aluminum, showing it as an unknown element. I could deduce that the unknown was aluminum because I knew what two of the samples were before testing. I assume it's because the tester is designed for iron alloys, and afaik aluminum isn't used as an alloying element in steels. The tests did show all other elements present.
