Seems like every one I find is missing so many different steels. Anybody know a good one I could download and print out? I cant get the Android App to work on my phone for some reason.

Go to zknives.com and best yet his app the Knife Steel Chart called ZviSoft in the Apple App Store. Probably others as well. Most extensive in existence.

+1 to the zknives reference; that's the one I've referred to the most. Their database must be HUGE, as it sometimes seems agonizingly slow to load the steel chart page on my system. But it's still worth the wait.

Don't forget the Spyderco steel chart.

They update it every so often.

It is available as a .PDF document to download.

Hiya, are you referring to knife steel chart app for Android? If that's the one not working for your phone, can you PM me or email me the details? I'm the developer and I'd be interested to see why it has an issue with your phone.

Thanks. You can use settings to set up default configuration and that will limit initial steel listing ot specific standard or country, which will speed things up.
Alternatively, instead going to http://zknives.com/knives/steels/steelchart.php link use http://zknives.com/knives/steels/aisi (or whichever standard you prefer to see initially), or http://zknives.com/knives/steels/us to load only US made steels, or use any 2 letter country code for countries in the database. That speeds up loading several times. Searches fmor the chart will still run against the entire database, so you won't be missing anything.

Thanks a bunch for the tips; I'll give those a try.
