Spyderco mules in Cruwear ( Vascowear equivalent) and Elmax have been released so far this year. Cruwear is as rare as any steel you will find, Elmax is a new, high performance stainless. Both are tough, high wear steels with Cruwear being non stainless. It's a very inexpensive way to try new steels in a really nice cutting, slicing platform. You don't run across deals like this everyday, and you don't run across Cruwear everyday. Elmax is becoming more popular and is available in a few knives already, but that's about it.

Working on making a small fixed blade from an unknown HSS, finished profiling and grinding, working on getting out the last of the grinder marks, and putting a handle on it, this stuff is HARD and takes a helluva edge.
