Are their any steel frame locks with 4inch blade available? I don't mind the weight that comes with steel frame locks. I've seen the schrade sch 302 but at 20bucks not expecting much just hope for solid lock up.

The Inron MY803 has 3.6 (maybe) inch blade. Not a half bad knife.

Maybe you can find a Kershaw Storm or Storm II, great US made steel framelock knives. They were quite affordable.
There's also the Böker Trance and Subcom.
