Steel Heart Ergo
Tanker Grey
Tan and Black G10

The ergo handle is much more comfortable than the other two Busse knives I have. It immediately became my favorite. Maybe because it's new..?

Enough. Pictures.

Size and Grip comparison

Handle comparison with TG-M

Tip, blade length comparison... I guess. I don't know what I'm doing. The stabby, pokey ends. Next to each other for some unspecified reason.

Sweet! How's the G10 feel? Mine came last monday and is micarta, which feels amazing, but I've never held Busse's G10.

The G10 feels perfect, actually. I am glad I ordered it on everything (except for the Battle Mistress, because, shit, them dollars)

Then again, the only context I have is the Respirene handle on the TRASH.

Also, bear in mind that I am not an outdoorsman. I have yet to use my Busse knives for anything beyond murdering ghosts, so I can give zero informed perspective on the practicalities of the handle material.

Ah alright, I ordered micarta because I am an outdoorsman and mine was ordered strictly as a user. In my experience with other knife companies(and now this one), micarta is fantastic for use. I love it. I'm curious though, so I'll have to try G10 sometime.

Arrived yesterday and I gave it to the wife so she had a Busse field blade. Man she got the AK and this one, but maybe she will be appeased now when I get the others in

I can't wait, this is one of the ones I've really been exited about and it's supposed to be here today.

Mine is sitting at the Post Office waiting for me now. Sat in Chicago for nearly a week !!!!!

What is the thickness like at the edge? Is it real thick or somewhat thin?

How's the SHe2 feel in hand in comparison to say, the SFNO LE? Is the grip diameter similar, larger, or smaller?

Thanks.

The ergo grip in really very different to any of the others, I can see why so many like them so much !! As elof_alv pointed out to me last night, this may be the closest we get to an INFI Chopweiler !!!! It will not depose some of my other Busses as favourite ;) but it is a sweet sweet knife !!

It was worth the wait for my Christmas Gift!

It's hard to be really accurate, but let's call it 0.040" at the transition from the ground edge to the coated main grind. For it's size, in the Busseverse, I think that qualifies as on the thin side.

I dumped an INFIDu because the edge seemed fat to me. YMMV.
