I got a Basic 7 a while ago, and think its a great knife! Nice weight, balance, and feel. Kinda ugly, tho. Didn't like the weird angles, so I made them symmetric. This knife still has a very thick but strong point on the blade, equivalent to a tanto point.
I like the style of the SH, but I see it is about 5 oz heavier. My questions about the SH are: does the blade have a more tapered (distal) point? Who has these available these days? And of course, what is the going price?
