Mulder ever so kindly gave me the opportunity to test a SHSHII aka "precious." When I first received it my first thoughts were that is fit VERY well in the hand even better than the ASH-1. In fact I think that is the most comfortable Busse that I have ever handled.

With that said I was going on a campout and debated whether to take it or not. Well I decided to go ahead and take it. Were we went in the mountains there was still 10 FT of snow! :eek: Well when we got to camp we got the stove going and precious split through good sized logs with ease, I have never had a knife that split so well, especially considering that it is a fairly thin knife. But my Mistress outchopped it. :D

Overall I give this knife a ***** five stars out of five. I really need to look into getting one of these once I have all my knives paid off. :thumbup:

The Precious is a SHSHII with diagooooooonal handle slabs, IIRC. Mulder has about 393744 of them. This is his user. LOL
 
Nope. I sold him one just 6 weeks ago I scored at a gun show.

I think his goal is to acquire every piece of A2 that Jerry ever touched. ROTFL!

And I agree with how she feels in the hand - weight, balance and grip! - although all I have is this old BBSHSH :thumbup::D

Does anyone know what the metal is for these? There are some dimples on her despite the bead blasting treatment she got at The Custom Shop. :)

"Precious" is also INFI as are all SHSH's with tube fasteners. :thumbup:
I just happen to prefer those with diagonal grooved micarta slabs. :foot:
I've paired down the collection from the 393744 and only have a feeeeeeeew left. :p

Ahhhh...The Precious...missing The Precious, am I! Nice, pretty Precious! (Oops...does anyone know how to get drool off the keyboard?? :o)
 
Damn I cant find my camera. :mad: Last time I had it was in Jackson Hole WY, this weekend. I promise I will post pics as soon as I find it, sorry for the delay.
