Determining a fair price for a knife - especially a popular and collectible knife - can be difficult.

In your question there are too many variables - there are many Steel Heart models, finishes, and sheaths that would cause the price to fluctuate wildly.

I recommend doing a search in the Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrap Yard for sale forum and perhaps other sources to get a sense of the range of prices that people are paying.

Good luck - looks like a great knife regardless of what you spend...

With a gold membership, you can ask "how much is it worth" (and also post a photo(s), which would help greatly put a more accurate price on it).

Funny. As an old time collector, I had a similar question about how to price things currently (assuming one upgrades to a Gold membership to be able to sell). The silly game of deleting prices after sales, however, makes it difficult to do research, leaving ebay as the only place to see what some sales were in the past.

Like it’s mentioned, eBay Completed Sales, would be good for price check on a popular Busse like the Stahlhertzen.
