Steel in Marbles Bolo?

Anyone know what kind of steel is used in this thing?

Maybe it's just generic and changes with batches. If not, I wanna know. The one I have is terrific.

I believe it is 1070 Carbon Steel. I'm not familiar with the theoretical properties of that particular steel but I've got one of the Marbles Bolos, too, and I agree its a great little machete. :thumbup:

1075 actually. Performance is remarkably similar to that of 1095. The Marbles machetes were made for them by Imacasa/Condor. If you like that, check out their other stuff! I love mine.
