Steel in Rat3

How does the D-2 compare to the 1075 in the Rat 3. I see Cabelas with 1075 at at about $60 and D-2 on eBay at about $125 and up

If it’s the rat3 ltd with walnut handles and thick leather sheath, it’s totally worth it. If it’s just the old rat 3 the 1075 or even the 1095 version (can be found even cheaper on sale) then stick with the carbon steel version. If you don’t mind serrations, the tak-1 is still available for about $100. Edge retention is exactly as expected, given Ontario’s spectacular ht on both 1075 and d2.

Their prices are so low you’d think the mfr would hate them but this apparently isn’t the case.. $45for the sp53, rat7 for $60... maybe other online sites hate them tho idk.
