steel info?

While trying to research what 1060, 1095 and 0-1 type steels meant I realized there are just too many grades out there. I am vacillating between the NG and the Vietnam with the acetal handle. Can anyone shed some light on the differences between 1060 and 0-1 other than the 0-1 having a harder rockwell?

So far its down to, I love the look of the NG but am attracted to what ive read on 1060 and the shorter haft length of the Vietnam.
