Hello I want to make the blade after I cut the shape, the question is this: how to "sharpen" "the blade, with sandpaper (disk grinder angle) or heat up and bang with Hammer- and after the Heat Treat clean and straighten with paper sanding.?
Which leads to the second question: I do not know exactly what this steel, so how better to Heat Treat (without break \ cracking), water or oil? Oil ?, and a few degrees is recommended to do the relaxation in the oven? For how long?

I would advise against using mystery steel.
Optimizing heat treatment for specific steel type is crucial in getting the knife hardened.
This thread needs moved to blades smiths sub-forum.
