Hi,

I already had a Sharpmaker from Spyderco (because CRK recommends it for sharpening his knives), but now I also have a Civlian! :-)

However I have a question about it, because I noticed that there is only one steel liner in my Civilian. Is this normal?

Welcome to the forums. From where in Holland are you?

Earlier (lock-back) G-10 models from Spyderco have only one liner. The liner is basically only there to hold the clip, it's not needed for the strenght of the knife, but some however like it for the heft/weight it adds.
Others with a single liner are the G-10 Rookie, Standard and the Police. The Police is also made without liners. The G-10 Navigator was never made with liners.

ps. What CRK do you have and where did you buy it? Prices for a Sebenza are ridiculous in Holland (EU 800+). I got mine from the US for $300 (large flat-ground)
