I've done some forum searching but have found almost no discussions of the little pocket prybars like Gerber's Shard. The ones I've seen have all been made of titanium. Does anyone make one out of a good tough steel like D2?

County Comm widgy bar FTW! I have 4! Try to get your hands on one of their limited ed. anodized ti versions, everyone always asks me about it when they see my keys. The regular ti ones are easy to polish and anodize yourself too. I bought 1 custom ti, 1 regular ti, and 2 steel versions and they all still live up to their names after about 3 years of hard work.

Atwood's are pretty sexy too, but I'd hate to hard use one considering the price tag.

another up for the widgy bars. I thought I lost one, and it sucked considering what it took to get them (I lost one just after getting them) Very good even at the markup I got mine at.

I buy $3 vaughan mini bars at the hardware and cut them down with a dremel when I have noyhing to do . I can make them to the length I need . You can drill a lanyard hole with a carbide masonary bit, bits for tapcons work well
