Anyone who can tell me the steel of Victorinox knife? In their web site I only got information as high carbron, stainless, first grade and A quality steel. I want to know the detail contents of the steel and the performance of the steel compare 440 series, ATS-34 etc.

Hello Wenhong!

Victorinox uses Bonpertuis T9MO for their blades. This is a steel which is almost similar to 440B.
Bonpertuis is a french steel mill specialized in producing high-quality knife steels. They deliver their steels since decades to most of the french and some of the more important european knifemaking enterprises.

Do a search on the web to get more information about them.

Ah, and yes, there's more to know than just the alloy of the steel to make a good copy of the real thing.
