Anyone now of any suppliers that sell stainless steels in more than a six in wide plate?

Most suppliers can cut it from sheet in any length you want.It will be 48" wide by whatever you want.Call Terry at Admiral or the guys at Crucible to get a quote.They will chop it to any shorter lenhth for free usually,but you will still have to buy the whole cut (2 pieces 24X9,3 pcs. 16X9,etc)

I've noticed that Admiral's pricing for stainless grades online states that it is sheared from sheet/plate. How much does the shearing affect the edge condition and flatness? I'm currently using O1 flat stock and am currious how others might deal with any possible deformation at the edges of sheared stainless stock.

There is a slight bevel on the edges of sheered stock. The stuff I get from Admiral is not precision ground like you find most of the O1, so you have to do some surface grinding anyway. This usually takes care of the edge for me.
