I have a ten year old Pathfinder 105. Does anybody know what type of steel Buck used in these knives then?

Greetings!! 10 years ago I had hair and 10 lbs lighter.Oh! that wasnt the question. 10 years would be 1992, which would be 425m hardened to about 57-59 on the 'c' scale.
To be sure, what is the mark on the blade next to the model number. That is the year mark.( there is a chart on Bucks web site under F A Q.. in 1994 Buck switched to 420hc.
