It's commonly used in German kitchen cutlery, and is used in some other knives under other names. Ka-Bar, CRKT, and others have used it as 1.4116, and Cold Steel is using it in their budget line as Krupp 4116. It's very corrosion resistant, quite tough, and easy to sharpen to a wicked edge, but edge holding is only moderate at best. Never heard of that brand of knife.
edit: It's a pretty decent steel if the price of the knife is not too high. Should be similar to 420HC.
