Hi,

I'm fairly new to this forum but I'm a longtime fan and collector of spyderco knives. A colleague of mine who I spend those long nightshifts with is becoming more and more interested in knives too. Can any of you recommend some good webpages with spyderco reviews (especialy the Bob Lum Chinese leaf folder or the Bob Lum fixed blade Tanto ? ) Also some info about the various kinds of steel would be appreciated to give him some reading material to study at home .

I can't think of a better place for your buddy to educate himself but to sign up at BladeForums (assuming he has access to the internet). Especially at the Spyderco Forum, and Knife Testing forum.
