Hi, haven't been able to make anything since December, feels great to be back in the shop even if it's just a little bit at a time.
Anyway....made a couple of this type knife since coming back, the one pictured and a damascus, bolsters and stag with a shark sheath version.

Here's the specs. on this knife;
5" 1095 clay treated, polished then 800 grit finish
Sambar stag with 2 textured bolts on a tapered tang
10" o.a.l.
Carved and lined leather sheath

Thanks for looking,
Dave

The 800 grit finish is cleaner than the photos depict, just couldn't get a good photo......but at least you can get an idea of what the knife looks like! :o:)

Its great to see you posting Dave. Very nice work as always, I like the way you shaped the stag and the hamon came out super, the sheath is extra nice and makes for a fantastic package. I'm with Roger, if you have a pic of the damascus one, post it up. :thumbup::thumbup:

Good looking knife Dave.
I really like how you finish your stag.
It always has such nice color and sheen.

Beautiful package. The stag colors are amazing and the activity in the temper makes the blade gorgeous. I particularly like the cowboy style leather tooling. Thanks Dave for the look.

I'm with Bill on the way you shaped your stag on this one. Really like the whole package. :thumbup:
