I'm planning on making a few more knives and I'd like to get a steel stamp made. For those makers who use a stamp, is there someone you would recommend?
Thanks,
Del

I have used Henry Evers four times now and am completely thrilled with their professionalism.
One stamp I got was not exactly like I wanted, and when she heard just a little disappointment in my reply to her, she sent me another one that was just the tiniest bit larger for no cost.
I have nothing but good to say about them.

+1 here. Henry Evers makes a very nice stamp. I love mine. The stamps are very easy to see where you're placing them due to how they're tapered on the end.

Evers made both of mine as well and after some tinkering with stamping they are the only thing I get consistently right. I have their stamp holder and an arbour press to hold it and have not had a double stamp since.

P.S.
Juli is still married to me- must be those great rings!

One more for H.Evers .They have make Kanji stamps and other stamps to my exact specifications. Quality was always superb.

Not to intrude, but at what point do you stamp, and what do you use to stamp? Hammer, press, hard soled shoes and give it a good stomp? Pre-HT?
