I'm sure others will chime in too.. :)

I just searched this same thing a few weeks ago. If you Google "tang stamp" or something you'll get a few companies that make knifemaker's stamps within the first couple of pages. They all seemed to run around $100 give or take for a basic name (no funky fonts or pictures, letters all straight across). Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I found them all through Google very easily, but I didn't save the info.

I've had mine made at Harper and they've lasted very well. Thanks Chuck, saved me digging through my mess. ;)

I also used Harper, pretty good service. They use 01, and the instructions tell you to only use it on red hot steel or else you'll wear it out in short order. I'm going to change mine however, to a emblem of a rocking chair. My name "Hensarling" and city and state "Uvalde,Tx" is just to much text for a small stamp. I really like Gibs mark. Do you guys register your marks somehow? I noticed once that on one of the blacksmith sites (Anvilfire) there was a link to register a "touchmark".

There's a free touchmark registry here:Touchmark registry

Feel free to register, it's simple, can be done online, and if you already have an image of your mark takes only a few minutes, the page usually goes up within 48 hours.
