Steel thickness- Do you get what you order???

I just received 154 CM from crucible. I ordered 5/32 and I received 3/16. The packing slip showed a range of .165-.183 .I didn't want 3/16 that's why I ordered 5/32. A range was not mentioned when I ordered and the 5/32 doesn't even fit in this range. Is this common? Thought I would ask you guys who order a lot of steel.

The only steel that will be the exact size that you order is precision ground. All others will be a bit over size.
