Hi. My first time in Camulus forum. I have recently developed a great interest in traditional folding knives, and bought a couple of stockman type. I find the range of trad folders that Camulus offers very nice indeed, particularly electrician and marine spike that other companies don't offer. Could anyone tell me what type of steel is used in Electrician knife (model 27B)? Is it stainless? The info on Camulus website doesn't say this. I need to buy some stainless knives for they need lower maintainance. Also, does Camulus have a stockman model over 4" closed in lenght? I'm looking for one of that too, but don't really want the kind that has sheepfoot blade bent to fit the liner (like in Old Timer). thanks folk. any info appreciated.

TD,
The 27B, is in fact, made from stainless steel (both the Screwdriver and the Spear Blade). Camillus does not currently offer a stockman over 4" closed. There was a model (718Y -Yello-Jaket Series) that was slightly over 4" closed but has been discontinued. But, as you mentioned, the blades are "set" to fit nicely between the liners. Maybe somebody has one or two left.
