Steel used in knife blanks

I see a number of finished knife blanks on ebay, waiting for scales and whatnot. I would like to try my hand at putting a couple of these together, but there seems to be limited info on the knives. The Hot Shot for example, is just described as stainless. What is the type of stainless being used? How about the thickness? Is there someplace that this info can be found? Thanks in advance.

I found the steel info I was looking for, thanks. I just don't have the thickness, but I guess I can just adjust the overall grip by starting out with 1/4" handle scales and adding liners if needed then going from there. Thanks!

Thanks for your interest and support, email me if you have any more questions. ultrareef@yahoo.com Yes, these are ready to go, pretty cool and doubt anymore will be available anytime soon. :D
