I think the Magnum Camp Knife was 440C. I don't know about the rest of the line.

I can believe it about the Magnum Camp. As for the Brute, well, it has a different finish, that's for sure...

Blackjack tends to use AUS 8 or 1095 Cyro...

HAHA, yeah I know, I remember the Magnum Camp being 440C but not if the entire line was the same steel.

Found this, which indicates steel in the Cincinnati Beckers was 4140 Chrome-Moly.

Still not sure about Blackjack though.

A while back, an old pamphlet from Blackjack, which included the Becker line, sold on eBay. I emailed the winner and asked for a photocopy. No response though.

They also used 01706 carbon steel.
