Steel wool on scales?

I do nothing to mine. I call them character marks ~ it's what gives the knife character and style.
But, steel wool and some type of lube will remove minor character marks. Will also make the titanium scales very very smooth.
When I do get ready to church up the Benza's. . .I'm sending mine to CRK for a total refurb. Bead blasting the scales feels so much better.
