I just picked up an older steelheart and would like to know how old , infi or not.
bird beak handle with rivets ,kydex lined cordura eagle sheath 6 1/2" blade 1/4" thick.

Ok it looks just like the bottom knife in pic SH25 on the badmojo site and i was wrong about the blade length its 6.5

I think all of the ones with rivets are INFI.
Okay, looking the www.badmojo.tv site (MEMORIZE THIS SITE)
It appears to me as though this knife was produced from 95-98.
Perhaps a senior HOG can give a definate answer.

Huh? Not all rivets are INFI.

Usually, all TUBED handles are INFI.

I'd venture A2. Got pix???

If it has a birds beak end and solid rivets, it would be very unusual for it to not be A2, as I believe all of the BBSH are A2.
But the rule is you have to show pictures!!!

;)

the solid looking thingys are slotted screws that have been ground flush. they were first, then came the screwed model, then the hollow tubie thingys.

oh yea, I vote A2, blades too long to be a 1st gen BBSHSH

Does it have two or three fasteners in the handle?

Three pins in the handle.

Gary

If it has three fasteners and a birds beak end, it should be a SHII in A2, but pictures would be best.

...,and 3 fasteners? Are you measuring the cutting edge or from the handle to the tip? I am a little intrigued by these specs. Please post some pics.
