Josh,
The SHII is one of the most popular of the Busse's and for good reason. Great first Busse to pick up, and I'm sure it won't be your last.

Are you getting a Steel Heart II or a Steel Heart II-E? The SHII has the straight handle and the SHII-E or SH-E has the ergo handle. Both are great knives but only the straight handle SHII is discontinued.

Let us know for sure which one you are getting so we can give you some more accurate info.
