Here's a relatively new design that came out of the York Style Perfect Hunter. The belly is dropped with an upswept edge to the ricasso. The cutting edge transition to the ricasso is smoothly upswept so that the knife doesn't grab when cutting open the hide. It's sized in the EDC to small hunter range. Comments welcome.

3/16" CPM S35VN stock
HT to Rc 58-59
7 1/2" OAL
3 1/2" Hollow ground blade
400 grit satin finish
Premium Stabilized Turkish Walnut scales
Red liners on tapered tang
Rounded spine
Pinned/soldered guard
Stainless furniture
8-10 oz Horizontal sheath

Looks comfortable in the grip, and I've always liked mid-3" hollow-ground, drop-point blades for any game up to deer size. Nice one, TK.

some very lucky person will love that blade! beautiful work.

Thanks Will - I'm in agreement with you. I can't begin to count the number of deer I've field dressed with this size blade. I've got some stag handled knives with this blade but I prefer the coke bottled handle for comfort and control.

Nice little hunter that's both aesthetically and ergonomically pleasing.
The nicely tapered tang and contoured handle adds substantially.

It is believed that during the rule of Alexander, the walnut was carried out of China on the Silk Road and distributed throughout the regions where it is found now such as Turkey.

That looks to be a nice functional design, with good fit and finish, and visually appealing (at least to me). Congratulations.

Ah - now I understand. Thanks for the explanation :)

Nicely contoured, comfortable handle on a classic blade. Very nicely done and should be a real winner in the field. I think the same style in stag would look great and be even more durable.
