This is my interpretation of the Loveless drop point with an improved handle in D-2/black canvas micarta. There are black/white G-10 liners - the bottom of the ricasso is rounded and there are thumb serrations on the spine. I hope you like it!

3/16" D-2 stock
HT to Rc 60-61
8" OAL
3 1/2" hollow ground blade
Thumb serrations on spine
Black canvas micarta scales
Tapered tang
Black/white G-10 liners
416 Stainless furniture - mirror finish
600 Grit hand rubbed satin blade
Pinned/soldered guard
8-10 oz RH Loveless style leather sheath

That is a very clean looking knife. The Loveless Improved handle has to do with ridges on the L and R side of the handle not a protrusion on the bottom.

That is one awesome knife! I like the blade length to handle ratio. I like a longer handle for these big mitts of mine. What is the handle length, from the the front of the guard to the end?

I know this - it's my interpretation. My version also has a longer, more useful guard. That's why it's called a Steingass Drop Point - Improved. Sorry purists. :D
