Greetings All:

This fighter was a collaboration between Les Robertson and me. The gut hook under the ricasso is sharpened so it cuts on the pull stroke. The pommel brings neutral balance to the center of the S-guard. All comments welcome.

Beautiful work. The handle looks super comfy. I also like that fullered copper spacer.

Love the copper spacer... the finish and double finger groove on the ironwood is fantastic.

Appreciate the good words guys - glad you like it:)

Beautiful work as always Tim. Looking forward to getting my hands on your work this week :)

Awesome work as usual Tim, will have to say that I have not seen a fighter with a gut hook tho.

Tim, it's always special seeing your work.

Give today is Halloween, and looking at that 'gut hook' (which needs 10" of immersion before it can work) it's truly 'frightening'!

That would be your point. :D

Thanks! Yubet, that area behind the blade acts just like a gut hook - I liked the lines of the blade under the ricasso but from a practical perspective, unless it's sharpened or radiused, it would be caught in combat and the user could not withdraw it. Hence, the sharpened gut hook. :)

Coop: Thanks for commenting - maybe I should change the name of the fighter to the Trick or Treat Fighter! :D
