The blade profile of this new design was influenced by Rod Chappel's work - the rest is me. One just like it is on its way out to have the blade and guard DLC coated. Here's the specs:

8" Double hollow ground blade
Sharpened/tapered spine
Black G-10 micarta
Stainless furniture
Satin finish blade/furniture
