Can anyone recommend a service to cut stencils for electro etching makers marks? I am pretty new but would like to start on a design and get an etcher. I have found a lot of how to vids on making the etch but not on making the stencil or where to get them made, etc. thanks!

I used the stencils from Tustech and from the company that sells the green ones in Brea California. Both are excellent and many forum readers like the stencils from Ernie. The real improvement in my etching came from the etching solution that I use. It is called #94 from the International Marking Group (IMG) of Utica, New York. It has made my marks sharp and black. One quart will last a decade. Larry

IMG is where I got mine. I know all of the stencils Tracy carries on his site are made by them as well.

I have stencils made by Ernie as well. However, I have also used stencils made of vinyl window graphics. They are only 1 time use, but I found a sign shop locally that would cut them for roughly a dime a piece. You'll likely have to find a Mom and Pop store as I didn't have any luck with chain stores like Kinkos being able to make that small of design.
