Does anyone know of a photo emulsion that will work on silk to make etching stencils. I have tried a couple of different kinds and the etectrolyte passes through the emulsion and you are left with a big black mark on the blade.
 
I have been playing with this for a few months myself. I have gone to a finer silk 360 TPI and hav achieved a single use screen. I am going to try double coating the next screen I do and see if that helps at all. I have had to reduce my etch time to about 4 seconds at 6VAC or I will get burn through. I am told that one of the commercial screen makers uses a 500 TPI silk.
