I've had several knives laying around for a few years now that never get used. When ever I reach for a knife I always grab another knife I like more, but oddly I never get rid of my step child knives. I buy and sell knives so knives come and go, my step child knives never go and never get used lol
Every now and then I pick one of them up and unsheath it or flip it open and take a good hard look at them and grip them trying to like them enough to use or carry them but nope. I'll call it knife limbo lol.
One of my step child knives is a bk14 that I modded, before I modded the bk14 I carried it and used it more often.
Another was a swiss army oht that lived in a kitchen drawer indefinitely but I did trade that one so it has vacated knife limbo ha.
So any others out there with step child knives?
