Sterile BK24 Becker D'Eskabar Knife at KnifeCenter?

Looks legit. Rumors of the 24 being discontinued flew around, never heard for sure. Maybe these were on a shelf and didn't get the lazer treatment? Only Ka-Bar knows...

Tomar's does not have the BK24 listed on their website. Maybe they are discontinued?
 
Yeah Tomar's has had the BK24 marked as discontinued for a couple months. I get the feeling when KABAR runs out they are done.
 
I ordered one of them a month ago, screwed up the order, and finally received it today. No fault of the knife center - all my fault. Also ordered the scales - orange pair and a black pair. I tried both, couldn't decide which I liked the best, so I used one of each color. Pretty cool looking combo - like a Halloween knife. It's very much like my ESEE 3, but in D2 steel. If I get some hogs in my traps this weekend, I'll find out if the D2 stays sharp for more than one cleaning. So far, I like the KaBar / ESEE combo.
 
E, if you're confused ... where does that leave the rest of us?

Aye, that's a good possibility. I know kabar has worked with distributors in the past to offer specials. I'm thinking should this not be a true offer form knife center then they could have some legal issues.
 
These have been back in stock for a month now I think. I just checked my knifecenter account and I bought a Parangatang and a sterile BK24 on July8th. I bought them as soon as they went on sale. What a deal getting the Parangatang for $60 and the D'Eskabar for $40 plus free shipping.
 
I highly doubt that KC is selling knockoffs. Nobody knows what exactly is up with these but I am sure they are genuine. I need to buy another. I should have done that when they just had their free shipping weekend.
